Reducing Arson

Last updated  03 April 2018

Arson, starting fires deliberately, can severely damage property needlessly, endangers other property, can lead to people being hurt or killed and takes firefighters away from fighting accidental fires and from doing vital training and fire safety work.

Arson is a crime and we work closely with the Police to bring arsonists to justice.

We work to reduce arson collaborating with other organisations like the Police and raising awareness through publicity campaigns and youth engagement.
