Handle Fireworks With Care

Fireworks are fun but they should be used in a safe and sensible way.

If you are organinsng a display at your home please follow this advice:

  • Store fireworks in a sealed box
  • Do not drink alcohol if setting off fireworks
  • Follow the instructions on each firework
  • Stand well back when the firework has been lit
  • Never go back to a firework that has already been lit
  • Keep a bucket of water nearby
  • Never put fireworks in your pocket or throw them!
  • Keep pets indoors

Organising a Firework Display?

It can be dangerous to have bonfires and fireworks in your garden so please always attend organised events instead of having your own as these are generally safer.
