Commercial building fire - Barton le Clay

At 10.31pm on Wednesday (30) two crews from Kempston and two crews from Luton were called to a commercial building fire in Barton Industrial Estate, Baren le Clay. The single storey office fire measured single 10m by 15m and resulted in 25% damaged by fire and 100% smoke logged.

Firefighters using breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets and one covering jet to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and is under investigation.
