Fire in the open - Leighton Buzzard

At 3.57pm on Thursday (31) a crew from Leighton Buzzard was called to a fire on the verge of the narrow railway line in Appenine Way, Leighton Buzzard measuring approximately 8m x 1m.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental - believed to be caused by a spark from the steam locomotive.
