Leighton Buzzard Fire Station

Leighton Buzzard Fire Station

Leighton Buzzard Community Fire Station was built in 1963 and is home to day crew and on-call firefighters. Our on-call firefighters live or work within six minutes of the station and respond to a bleeper when needed. The station serves Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the surrounding villages as well as supporting colleagues across the county.

One of our Fire Cadet units are based here, meeting weekly during school term times on a Monday between 19:00–21:00.

Since 2017 officers from Bedfordshire Police have also been based at the station although they do not have a public enquiry desk. If you require the Police please call 999 in an emergency or 101 for other enquiries.
