Road traffic collision

At 12.03pm on Tuesday (15), crews from Bedford, Biggleswade and Sandy were called to a road traffic collision involving three cars and a pedestrian on Bonds Lane, Biggleswade.

One female trapped under front wheel of one of the vehicles. Firefighters erected privacy screens to protect the casualty before using spreaders and choc blocks to lift the vehicle and remove casualty. Stabilisation blocks and small tools used to ensure safety of scene. Casualty left in the care of the ambulance service.
