Fire in the open

At 12.15pm on Monday (21) crews from Ampthill, Dunstable,  Stopsley and Toddington were called to a shed fire which had spread to fencing and cladding on a property in High Street, Pulloxhill.  

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus accessed the fire using a 9m ladder and used three hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hotspots.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
