Domestic building fire

At 6.02pm on Monday (5) a crew from Luton were called to a fire in a first-floor bedroom at a property in Lavender Close, Luton.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire using a hose reel jet and covering jet. Large ventilation fans were used to remove smoke from the property. 

The bedroom was 100% damaged by fire and the first floor suffered 100% damaged caused by smoke from the fire. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
