At 1.29am on Tuesday (6) a crew from Kempston was called to a fire in the open in Hillgrounds Road, Kempston.
A large recycling bin and a refuse bin were alight.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
