At 8.36am on Tuesday (6) a crew from Kempston was called to a fire in a raised flowerbed in the ground floor of the Saxon Centre in Kempston.
Firefighters used hose reel jet and a shovel to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
