At 5.13pm on Tuesday (13) two crews Kempston were called to a large area of undergrowth on fire in Wavel Close, Stewartby.
Firefighters used a hose reel, backpack sprayer and beaters to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
