At 3.10pm on Thursday (22) a crew from Bedford was called to a bonfire in a wooded area in Park Avenue, Bedford.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no further hotspots.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
