Fire in the open

At 3.24pm on Wednesday (18) crews from Biggleswade and Sandy were called to a fire involving a wooden shed and summerhouse along with fence panels at a property in Drove Road, Biggleswade. 

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jet and small tools to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera to check for hotspot. One female casualty was assessed by the ambulance service and remained at the property.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
