At 8.16pm on Thursday (19) a crew from Stopsley was called to a rubbish fire within a wooded area in Haddon Road, Luton.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
