Fire in the open – Luton

At 2.16pm on Monday (23), crews from Luton and Woburn were called to a grass fire in a field near Marsh Road, Luton.

The fire measured approximately 10m x 10m and was extinguished using backpack sprayers, beaters, and a high-pressure lance from a multi-role vehicle.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
