Vehicle fire – Small – Biggleswade

At 6.17pm on Wednesday (4), a crew from Biggleswade attended a fire involving one large van that was completely involved in the fire, along with approximately 20 metres by 10 metres of hedgerow.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reels, thermal imaging cameras, small tools, and hydraulic rescue equipment. Crews remained on scene to cut back the hedgerow and dampen down.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
