Vehicle fire – Luton

At 12:50pm on Friday (27), a crew from Luton was called to a rubbish fire in the back of a refuse lorry on Saint Joseph’s Close, Luton.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus decanted the waste onto the roadway and extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets, stack drags and thermal imaging cameras.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
