Fire in the open – Biggleswade

At 5:20pm on Friday (27), crews from Biggleswade and Sandy were called to a fire in uncut grass near Furzenhall Road, Biggleswade.

The fire measured approximately 100 metres by 20 metres. Firefighters used two hose reels and two fogging units to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
