Domestic building fire – Luton

At 5:57pm on Friday (27), a crew from Luton was called to a domestic fire on Roman Road, Luton.

A freezer was involved in the fire, causing 10% fire damage and 20% smoke damage to the ground floor of a two-storey property. 

Firefighters used a hose reel, safety jet, thermal imaging camera and phase one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Gas and electric supplies were isolated.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
