Fire in the open – Leighton Buzzard

At 2.22pm on Sunday (29), a crew from Leighton Buzzard was called to a fire involving approximately 100 square metres of hedgerow and grass on Meadway, Leighton Buzzard.

Firefighters used three hose reels and a triple extension ladder to extinguish the fire, with water supplies augmented from a hydrant on Willow Bank Walk. A full road closure was put in place during the incident.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
