Fire in the open – Houghton Regis

At 6.15pm on Sunday (29), crews were called to a fire on Tithe Farm Road, Houghton Regis, involving an electric scooter and hedgerow.

The scooter was 100% destroyed by fire, with approximately 5 metres of hedgerow also affected. Firefighters used backpack sprayers and buckets of water to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
