Fire in the open – Sandy

At 4:12pm on Monday (30), a crew from Sandy Community Fire Station was called to a fire involving approximately 50 metres by 10 metres of hedgerow and uncut grass.

Firefighters used two hose reels, a thermal imaging camera, a stack drag, and a water shuttle to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
