Fire in a domestic building - Dunstable

At 2.10am on Wednesday (2) crews from Dunstable were called to a fire in a first-floor bedroom in a ground floor flat in The Parklands, Dunstable. 

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a covering jet, a hose reel and a safety jet to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots, and a PPV fan to disperse the smoke.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
