Fire in the open – Bedford

At 11.51am on Friday (4), crews from Ampthill, Kempston and Sandy were called to an uncontrolled burn at the rear of a property on Church Hill, Ravensden Road, Bedford.

Firefighters used a high-pressure lance, backpack sprayers, beaters, stack drags, and shovels to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
