At 5.41pm on Friday (4), crews from Kempston, Sandy, Gamlingay, and Huntingdon were called to a large fire on Nightingale Road, Great Barford.
At 5.41pm on Friday (4), crews from Kempston, Sandy, Gamlingay, and Huntingdon were called to a large fire on Nightingale Road, Great Barford.
The fire involved a garden shed and fencing measuring approximately 20m x 15m, which were 100% damaged by fire.
A single-storey commercial storage building measuring 10m x 8m was 20% fire damaged and 100% smoke damaged.
A single-storey domestic brick store measuring 2m x 4m sustained 50% fire and smoke damage.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used four main jets, three hose reel jets, thermal imaging cameras, a short extension ladder, and small tools.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
