Fire in the open – Bedford

At 9.04am on Tuesday (8), a crew from Kempston Community Fire Station was called to a fire in the open near Morrisons on Ampthill Road, Bedford.

The fire involved waste materials measuring approximately 2m x 2m.

Firefighters used buckets of water and a backpack sprayer to extinguish the fire and damp down the area.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
