At 8.16pm on Tuesday (8), a crew from Kempston was called to a small fire in the open at The Causeway, Wixams, Bedford.
On arrival, firefighters found small shrubs alight over an area measuring approximately 2m by 5m.
The fire was promptly extinguished using a hose reel.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
