Animal rescue – Bedford

At 12.29pm on Saturday (12), a crew from Bedford attended Park Avenue, Bedford Park.

One injured cygnet was rescued from the water after being found in distress. Two firefighters in full water personal protective equipment (PPE) entered the water to carry out the rescue.

The cygnet was handed over to the RSPCA.
