Domestic building fire - Kensworth

At 1:41am on Friday (25) two crews from Dunstable were called to a small fire in the hallway of a derelict property in Common Road, Kensworth.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots. After the fire was extinguished they used an electric fan to ventilate the building. Three occupants of a neighbouring property were assessed by the fire service and left in the care of the ambulance service. 

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
