Vehicle fire – Luton

At 2.39pm on Saturday (26), a crew from Luton was called to a vehicle fire on Waller Avenue, Luton.

A black BMW 3 Series was involved in fire, which spread to nearby trees and caused damage to a green communications cabinet.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. DAMMIT putty was applied to cover two drains.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
