Fire in the open - Clophill

At 2.14am on Saturday (2) crews from Shefford, Ampthill and Woburn were called to a fire in Shefford Road, Clophill.

Firefighters used a high-pressure lance and two main jets to extinguish the fire and prevent any further damage. Devastatingly, the board walk is destroyed.

Following an investigation, BFRS Fire Investigation Team together with Bedfordshire Police Scenes of Crime Officers concluded the fire was started deliberately.
