Fire in the open - Tilsworth

At 6.23pm on Wednesday (6) a crew from Dunstable and a crew from Woburn were called to a large fire at Tilsworth Golf Centre, Tilsworth. The fire involved what is believed to be a stolen car that was 100% destroyed by fire and fire in a woodland area measuring approximately 10m x 15m.

Firefighters using breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a high pressure lance to extinguish the fire. They used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
