Fire in the open - Bedford

At 6.09am on Thursday (7) three crews from Bedford, Kempston and Sandy were called to a large fire, approximately 100m x 3m in size, consisting of verge and hedgerow in Lovell Road, Bedford. 

Firefighters used beaters and an extended hose reel to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
