Fire in the open - Luton

At 3.12pm on Friday (8) a crew from Luton were called to a fire involving 15m of fencing and two sheds, which had spread to a conservatory in Huckleberry Close, Luton. The fire also involved a 9ky BBQ gas cylinder.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose jets and covering jets to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots. 

The cause of the fire was accidental. 

One casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service.
