Fire in the open - Biggleswade

At 10.06pm on Thursday (14) a crew from Biggleswade, a crew from Potton and a crew from Sandy were called to a large fire in the open in Furzenhall Road, Biggleswade. The fire consisted of uncut grass measuring approximately 20m x 20m.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
