Details of incidents attended by Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
At 11.04am on Friday (15), a crew from Bedford were called to a small fire in a public bin in Greyfriars, Bedford.
Members of the public had extinguished the fire by the time the crew arrived. Firefighters used buckets of water to dampen the surrounding area.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
At 1.50pm on Friday (15), a crew from Luton were called to investigate smoke in Marsh Road, Luton.
The smoke was from a bonfire in a rear garden, which firefighters extinguished using a hose reel.
At 5.41pm on Friday (15), crews from Bedford and Sandy were called to a wildfire consisting of a hedgerow and fallen tree in Great Barford.
Firefighters used a high pressure lance and hose reel to extinguish the fire. Thermal imaging cameras were used to check the surrounding area for hot spots.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
At 6.55pm on Friday (15), a crew from Dunstable were called to a small fire in a wooded area in Fensome Drive, Houghton Regis.
Firefighters used buckets of water to extinguish the fire.

At 8.59pm on Friday (15), two crews from Dunstable were called to a fire in a garden in Cornflower Drive, Houghton Regis. The fire consisted of a garden gate, furniture and waste.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
At 9.53pm on Friday (15), crews from Kempston, Luton and Shefford were called to a road traffic collision in Maulden where a van was on fire.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
