At 11.52am on Monday (1) crews from Kempston were called to a fire involving 8 metres of wooden fence panelling, undergrowth and a shed in Mortimer Road, Kempston. 

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots. 

The cause of the fire was deliberate.

At 12:52pm on Monday (1) a crew from Kempston was called to a fire in a wooded area involving a tree stump and branches in Earls Holme, Kempston. 

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
