Details of incidents attended by Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service
At 5:10am on Friday (5) a crew from Dunstable was called to a motorcycle fire in Tithe Farm Road, Houghton Regis. The motorcycle was 100% destroyed by the fire.
Firefighters used a backpack sprayer and buckets of water to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
At 4.36pm on Friday (5) two crews from Dunstable, two crews from Luton and a crew from Stopsley were called to a house fire in Bute Street, Luton. 25% of the room was damaged by fire and 100% was damaed by smoke, with ligh smoke damage to the communal corridor.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet, a covering jet and a safety jet to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
At 8:36pm on Friday (5) a crew from Luton was called to a moped fire in Saint Thomas' Road, Luton.
Firefighters used a backpacker sprayer and buckets of water to extinguish the fire. The moped was 100% damaged by the fire.

At 9.33pm on Friday (5) a crew from Stopsley was called to a small bonfire in Hampshire Way, Luton.
Firefighters used buckets of water to extinguish the fire.
