Vehicle fire – Luton
At 2.03pm on Monday (8), a crew from Luton was called to a vehicle fire in Dorrington Close, Luton.
The fire involved a Post Office vehicle, which was around 25 per cent damaged by fire.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to tackle the blaze, and they spent around an hour at the scene.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
Fire in the open – Bedford
At 2.55pm on Monday (8), a crew from Bedford was called to a small fire in Greyfriars, Bedford.
The incident involved a bin fire, which was extinguished using hose reel equipment.
Firefighters were at the scene for around an hour.
