Details of incidents attended by Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
At 1.41am on Tuesday (9), crews from Luton and Stopsley were called to a commercial building fire in Arundel Road, Luton.
The fire involved a single-storey commercial garage, measuring around 30m by 50m, with two cars inside.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with one covering jet, a thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation.
Around 20 per cent of the garage was destroyed by fire, with the remainder damaged caused by heat and smoke.
Crews used additional equipment to cut away and check for hotspots, and surrounding premises were also checked for fire spread.
Firefighters were at the scene for approximately two hours.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
At 2.35pm on Tuesday (9), crews from Kempston were called to a field fire in East End, North Crawley.
The fire affected approximately 400m by 100m of stubble and around 200m of hedgerow. Firefighters used three hose reel jets, one main jet, beaters and a wildfire unit to bring the blaze under control. A Bedfordshire water carrier was also used to replenish appliances.
