Details of incidents attended by Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service
At 6:23am on Friday (3) a crew from Dunstable was called to a small fire consisting of rubbish and undergrowth approximately 3m x 3m in Grove House Gardens, Dunstable.
Firefighters used backpack sprayers and buckets of water to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
At 10:00am on Friday (3) a crew from Luton was called to rescue a cat from the roof of a property in Gilder Close, Luton.
Firefighters used a 9m ladder to bring the cat to safety back at ground level.
At 8.39pm on Friday (3) a crew from Leighton Buzzard was called to a fire in a commercial bin in Vandyke Road, Leighton Buzzard.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
