Details of incidents attended by Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service
At 5.18pm on Monday (6), a crew from Bedford was called to an animal rescue incident at Ketwell House, Tavistock Street, Bedford.
Firefighters used a reach pole and net to safely rescue a cat from a flat roof.
At 5.53pm on Monday (6), a crew from Luton was called to a vehicle fire on Portland Road, Luton.
One car was involved in the fire. Firefighters used one hose reel and one set of breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
At 10.10pm on Monday (6), a crew from Dunstable was called to a vehicle fire on Meadway, Dunstable.
One motorbike was 100% damaged by fire.
Firefighters used buckets of water and backpack sprayers to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
