Incidents
At 11.25 on Wednesday (14) a crew from Ampthill were called to a small open fire.
At 10.59am on Wednesday (14) crews from Sandy, Harrold, Kempston and Potton were called to a fire in a house in High Road, Beeston.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire. One female casualty was taken to hospital. The roadway had to be closed by police whilst firefighters tackled the fire, for the safety of crews.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
At 10.44am on Wednesday (14) crews from Biggleswade, Bedford, Potton and Leighton Buzzard were called to a fire in a commercial building in The Ridgeway, Moggerhanger.
At 6:34pm on Tuesday (13) two crews from Luton, one crew from Stopsley and one crew from Leighton Buzzard were called to a fire in a kitchen in Windsor Walk, Luton.
At 2:33pm on Tuesday (13) two crews from Kempston and one crew from Dunstable were called to a trapped pony in Dunstable Road, Tilsworth.
At 1:36pm on Sunday (11) two crews from Kempston and one crew from Biggleswade were called to an injured sheep in Shefford.
At 10:28pm on Saturday (10) a crew from Luton was called to a small garden fire in Princess Street, Luton.
At 6:48am on Saturday (10) a crew from Luton was called to two commercial wheelie bins and bin store fire in Copenhagen Close, Luton.
At 6:17pm on Friday (9) crews from Luton were called to a fire in a front bedroom in Graham Gardens, Luton.
At 2.20am on Friday (9) a crew from Biggleswade was called to a small internal bin fire in Abbotts Walk, Biggleswade.
At 5.53pm on Wednesday (7) a crew from Luton was called to a moped on fire in a quarry, Houghton Regis.
At 5.38pm on Tuesday (6) a crew from Bedford was called to a car fire in Hatch Lane, Keysoe.
