Incidents

At 6.41pm on Monday (7) a crew from Kempston was called to a fire in the engine bay of a vehicle in Clapham Road, Bedford.    

At 12.14pm on Monday (7) a crew from Luton was called to a fire in the engine bay of a recovery vehicle in Hatsfield Road, Luton.    

At 11.03pm on Sunday (6) crews from Sandy, Biggleswade, Bedford and Kempston were called to a road traffic collision on the A1 Northbound Sandy to the Blackcat roundabout.

At 9.30pm on Sunday (6) a crew from Bedford was called to a bin fire in Canvin Way, Bedford.

At 12.14pm on Sunday (6) crews from Kempston and Sandy were called to a bin fire in Folkes Road, Wootton.    

At 12.14pm on Sunday (6) crews from Kempston and Sandy were called to a bin fire in a double garage at a property in Folkes Road, Wootton.

At 6.33pm on Saturday (5) two crews from Dunstable assisted crews from Buckinghamshire FRS at a house fire in Tring Road, Ivinghoe.

At 6.47pm on Friday (4) a crew from Leighton Buzzard was called to a bin fire in a children's playground in Jakeman Edge, Leighton Buzzard.    

At 3.56pm on Friday (4) a crew Kempston was called to a van fire in Melbourne Street, Bedford.

At 03.00am on Thursday (3) a crew from Stopsley was called to a recycling bin fire in Alfriston Close, Luton.    

Fire was out on arrival, however, firefighters used a hose reel to damp down and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.  

The cause of the fire was deliberate. 

At 5.48pm on Wednesday (2) crews from Luton, Stopsley and Leighton Buzzard were called to a fire in a garage at a property in Carlton Crescent, Luton.
