Incidents

At 9.02pm on Friday (23) a crew from Luton was called to a small fire in the open in Warden Hills, Luton.      

At 1.28pm on Friday (23) crews from Bedford, Harrold, Biggleswade and Kempston were called to a small fire in a ground floor bin area in a property in Beckett Street, Bedford.      

At 04.40am on Friday (23) two crews from Leighton Buzzard were called to a bin fire which had spread to an adjacent door at a property in West Street, Leighton Buzzard.    

At 5.46pm on Thursday (22) a crew from Biggleswade were called to a small fire in a rear garden involving garden waste in Regent Street, Stotfold.      

At 10.59pm on Wednesday (21) a crew from Leighton Buzzard were called to a fire in a electrical substation in Leicester Close, Luton.      

At 10.12pm on Wednesday (21) a crew from Leighton Buzzard were called to a shrubbery and tent fire in West Street, Leighton Buzzard.      

At 9.11pm on Wednesday (21) a crew from Kempston were called to a small fire in a wooded area in Moor Lane, Bedford.      

At 7.27pm on Wednesday (21) a crew from Dunstable were called to a log fire in Moore Crescent, Houghton Regis.      

At 7.08pm on Wednesday (21) two crews from Luton were called to a kitchen fire in a property in Dunstable Road, Luton.    

At 4.49pm on Wednesday (21) crews from Kempston and Harrold were called to a scrub fire in Kimbolton Road, Colmworth.      

At 12.06pm on Wednesday (21) a crew from Kempston was called to a small undergrowth fire in Harris Way, Wootton.      

At 00.52am on Wednesday (21) a crew from Leighton Buzzard was called to a caravan in Stanbridge Road, Great Billington.    

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots. Scene safety was implemented by FRS and handed over to the Police.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
