Incidents
At 7.52pm on Thursday (10) crews from Biggleswade, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Shefford, Stopsley and Toddington were called to a fire involving 60 acres of standing corn, stubble, loose straw and 200m of hedgerow in Barton Road, Streatley.
At 7.31pm on Thursday (10) a crew from Bedford were called to reports of smoke in the area of Mount Drive, Bedford.
At 1.36pm on Thursday (10) a crew from Dunstable was called to a grass fire in Clayhall Road, Kensworth.
At 12.09pm on Thursday (10) a crew from Luton was called to a hedgerow fire in Ely Way, Luton.
At 12.01pm on Thursday (10) a crew from Luton was called to a tree fire in Lincoln Road, Luton.
At 7.33pm on Wednesday (9) a crew from Kempston was called to a small unattended bonfire in a wooded area in Cranfield Road, Wooton.
At 7pm on Wednesday (9) a crew from Sandy was called to a small rubbish fire in Phoenix Park, Wyboston.
Update - Thursday 10 July
An investigation of the fire has now been completed and it was determined the cause of the fire was accidental.
At 4:15am on Wednesday (9), crews from Bedford, Harrold, Kempston, Sandy and Shefford were called to a fire at a residential building on Palgrave Road, Bedford.
At 12:34am on Wednesday (9), crews from Ampthill and Kempston were called to a kitchen fire at a property on Elgin Gardens, Maulden.
At 10.04pm on Tuesday (8), a crew from Kempston Community Fire Station was called to a fire in the open on the A421 westbound, between the A6 and Marsh Leys junction.
At 8:43pm on Tuesday (8), a crew from Dunstable Community Fire Station was called to a vehicle fire on Cemetery Road, Houghton Regis.
