Incidents

At 9.54pm on Thursday (24) crews from Kempston and Bedford were called a large fire at a property under construction in Four Acre Drive, Wixams.  

At 5.51pm on Thursday (24) crews from Ampthill and Toddington were called a small kitchen fire in a first floor flat in Elder Way, Ampthill.  

At 7.50pm on Wednesday (23) a crew from Sandy were called to car fire in a layby in Potton Road, Sandy.

At 2.43am on Tuesday (22) a crew from Bedford were called to car on fire in a field which had spread to a hedgerow in Northampton Road, Bromham.

At 8.17pm on Monday (21) a crew from Luton was called to a fire involving wood in Harlington Road, Sharpenhoe.  

At 2.57pm on Monday (21) crews from Kempston were called a small fire in an extension to a property in Chantry Road, Kempston.  

At 12.15pm on Monday (21) crews from Ampthill, Dunstable,  Stopsley and Toddington were called to a shed fire which had spread to fencing and cladding on a property in High Street, Pulloxhill.  

At 3.04am on Monday (21) crews from Biggleswade and Hertfordshire FRS were called to a caravan on fire in a carpark of a derelict pub in Church Lane, Arlesey.  

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.  

The cause of the fire is being investigated. 

At 7.54pm on Sunday (20) a crew from Bedford was called to a fire in the open in Longholme Way, Bedford.  

At 4.55am on Sunday (20) crews from Dunstable were called to candy van on fire in Woodside Link, Houghton Regis.

At 2.08pm on Saturday (19) a crew from Luton was called to a fire in the open involving a hedgerow and conifer in Wistow Road, Luton.  

At 12.41pm on Saturday (19) a crew from Dunstable was called to a large amount of waste on fire in Coltsfoot Green, Luton.
