At 7.19pm on Monday (23), crews from Ampthill and Kempston attended a grass fire on the A507 Ampthill Bypass, between the A5120 and Clophill (A6).
At 6.27pm on Monday (23), a crew from Luton attended a small fire in a wooded area at Stockwood Park, Farley Hill, Luton.
At 4.57pm on Monday (23), a crew from Luton attended a skip fire in a hotel car park at Butterfield, Great Marlings, Luton.
At 3.35pm on Monday (23), a crew from Kempston attended a fire in the electrical trunking of a bay door within a refrigeration unit at a distribution centre on Marsh Leys Farm, Woburn Road, Kempston.
At 2.44pm on Monday (23), crews from Kempston attended a vehicle fire on the A507 Ampthill Bypass, between the A5120 and Clophill (A6).
The incident involved a collision between one car and one van, with the van—containing tyres—100% damaged by fire. The fire also spread to approximately half a hectare of nearby scrubland.
Firefighters wearing breathing used four hose reels, beaters, and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was accidental.

At 8.08am on Monday (23) crews from Luton and Stopsley were called to a road traffic collision in Russell Street, Luton involving two cars.
